Yes, asianfly, that is a hard hitting article from the Sunday Indo and it is good that the Dublin newspapers are again showing some interest in the goings on at an airport other than at Dublin.

It is clear that Aer Rianta considered Cork Airport no more than an vague afterthought and even Dublin Airport was sacraficed for so long at the alter of that sacred cow down in County Clare, that den of conniving and dirty politics.

Now, we learn that a Minister for Enterprise from the constituency of Cork South Central wants Shannon Development to give that foul airport another of our 30 million Euros to prop up the stench for another five years by fiddling around again with the numbers game.

It is so obvious that every stunt in the book is being looked now to nail Cork and ruin her by this government so depraved from power, the latest twist being referring the debt matter to the Attorney General. Every, every obstacle is being hatched to damn Cork Airport's future and for now they are getting away with it due to Cork and Cork Airport's legacy of gutlessness and weakness.

You can be sure the crowd in Clare will be taking the 30 million euro and more from you and me and all Cork Airport will be doing is taking a kick up the behind and begging to be kicked again and again.
