One memorable copy showed photo's of the Boscombe based Harvard photoship vs. a Hercules dropping pallettes. The Harvard pilot (who I know) was briefed to expect 2 parachutes to be dropped. He saw the first load exit; two parachutes deployed, so he turned to pass behind the Herc to circle round the pallette so that the back seat photographer could keep it in view. Just then, and entirely unexpected, a second pallette was dispatched from the Herc; the kinetheodolite trackers then got some superb shots of the Harvard bursting through the parachutes of the second load! The aircraft and occupants were unharmed, except for red faces when it was realised the briefing should have mentioned 2 pallettes each with 2 parachutes, not just 'two parachutes'!
