I think you are slightly confused. If basings are offered, they wont be offered to anyone in the company, it will be to new joiners.
Think of the logic. The problem they have at the moment is that they can't attract the appropriate (DEC) people to the company. If they give us a basing, that isn't going to help their cause one bit. If on the other hand they offer basings to DEC's as Singapore have done in the past, they will be inundated with applications.
The end result will be that the existing crew will be even more p*ssed off. And i can assure you that the management could not care less about how pissed off the existing staff are. After all they are already here. A bit like the grade 1-8 that have just been shafted with housing allowance.
I would bet a months salary that none of us will ever see a basing.
