I have applied for long haul work and even though my children are no longer hanging onto my apron strings, as the case may be, they are not grown up either.......
And just wondered if there was anyone else in a similar situation.......

As you say long haul is for the young, free, and single, surely the kids come first?, i would stick to short haul until they have grown up a bit, remember you can never get those times back, once they have grown they have grown, make the most of it!
