Actually, the base isn't too bad at all.
The discussions that the other posters speak of mostly relate to the industrial issues in Australia and not in the UK.
I might add that they do not represent ALL the crew in Qantas nor do posters from other airlines represent everyone in their respective airlines. Something to remember perhaps
The pay is about standard for UK based airlines and there are three long haul ports (BKK, SIN, HKG) plus we also do some summer charter flights which are short haul.
