Yes sir I am..... under old system we got credit pay for vacation and training, etc....now we do not! Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it was 2.5 hrs for leave, 3.5 hrs for sim and ground.... Factor in the right amount of leave, training and up to the limit hours of flying and you get yourself a lovely discounted roster!
In any case, the bonus and pay increace should balance it in the end and cover our "extra" work so we again "break even" in the end.....
ah, and just heard, AIR ARABIA, the only low cost carrier in the Middle East, got a 12% pay increase and 2 months bonus a couple of months ago in February......surely EK will not top that......
