JQ is in very serious trouble. The management team is in group think blaming staff for their own lack of capability, ethics and talent. They are true B graders.

For the first time, Al is about to be confronted by a team with serious talent. Have a look at the team Godfrey has put together to introduce his international operation.

The excellent morale that pervaded JQ pre Christmas is gone. The company is in disarray. There is little trust in management. Everyone in the office in Melbourne is looking sideways waiting to get blamed for today's problem or failure of the managers.

QF will have to insert serious operational experience at a senior level by mid year if the JQ International operation is to get off the ground anywhere near the proposed date.

For the time being they are just lucky that the acting CASA chief in Melbourne is a very good mate of AJ's new "brain" - his head of safety. Funny, not many other people in the industry have the confidence in the "brain" that AJ has!! OR is he to be the scapegoat again?
