That's absolute true, when I began reading this book I couldn't remember most of it. But if it was only for the technical exam, a lot of studying would fix it.
The thing is that in another book "Emirates Pilot Interview Handbook" it is stated that the technical exam counts for only 10% of your destiny on the interview, being the "psychometric and panel interview" the important part of it (40%). Sim ride goes for another 30%. Workshop for 20%.
So something more than this book is needed.
