My oldest payslip records are from September 1992 and shows:

Basic pay £2332.00 = basic salary

Gross pay £2617.48 = salary after flight duty pay

Net pay £1932.02 = after all deductions, but not pension

This was as an FO for a major UK charter airline; not 737/757, but similar seat capacity as the 737-400, just under average salary for the job at the time, but not by much. No pension deductions, I hadn't been there long enough to join the scheme. Duty pay slighly more than a typical month, I had been line training.
