In the dim and distant years of my youth we would parade and give 3 cheers for her Majesty after which we would have the rest of the day off. Mind you, IIRC, we did this on a Saturday morning so it wasn't that good a deal. Still tradition is tradition so hip, hip hooray and I'm off.
