They've also been known to assist the odd civilian--or two --over the years. I think their role is what the beancounters would call "added value"
by the way--maybe you should ask a team for a visit or two--and do a bit of research into the history of the MRT's since their formation--then
possibly revise your perceptions ? . Just a thought.
