Ozjet Branding Confused Passengers

Just as we see the remnants of Ozjet signage being taken down, you cannot help being reminded of the how inappropriate it was.
A closer look at the Ozjet sign shows it has the O7 IATA prefix in a lighter blue than the rest of the name which was in dark blue. i.e. O7LJET The 7L is just a fancy Z.
So who was this supposed to be aimed at. The public? Perhaps it had some meaning to a travel agent at best, but the public??? No way, surely?
And you could not help thinking how many of the ideas, therefore that O7 had were not quite thought out well enough and it just seems to me that advertising empty seats on billboards was one of them.
