.................now for todays apologies.
Firstly, we are currently waiting for Captain Joyce and F/O Gregg to join us- who have just landed in on our JQ Saigon flight. As soon as they arrive we'll be on our way!.
Now the rest of the apologies.:
* There will be no IFE today due to ongoing technical problems dating back to 2005.However, we have placed 1998 editions of Readers Digest for your reading pleasure in lieu.-sorry
* There will only be 4 toilets available on this flight -sorry. But, this aircraft has just come out of our major maintanace centre in Haiphong and unfortunately they didn't have the necessary parts-sorry.
* We will not be able to gaurantee catering today either. There is currently a strike at our food suppliers-Sizzlers. -sorry.
*Unfortunately you may find the service a little slow today. We are only able to have minimum crewing numbers today due to "issues" in our Phnom Penn base-sorry.
* Please disregard the China Eastern bulkheads and seats in the rear of the cabin-again we've had some problems with our maintenance facility.-sorry
Anyways............ The Captain and F/O have now joined us.
We will be pushing back soon ,and as a reminder the tug will tow us to the end of the main runway before we will start engines-then we'll be on our way.
