Was it a Hornet Moth, Leapard Moth or Fox Moth?
I had always thought it was a Puss Moth. I think they have a Puss Moth at YMMB in their museum. Perhaps that is where I got the idea that mister MB's ac was a Puss Moth.
I have looked at the pics from the Aero Club web page
www.geelongaeroclub.com/ but it is too extensively damaged to recognise anything beyond the Gypsy Major powerplant.
