You are correct. The FAAA must ensure that it handles these sort of contentious issues more professionally. By that I mean full transparency. Having the AEC handle the vote on the JFK issue would have ensured that there is no discussion suggesting any underhand or "unusual" outcomes.
Considering past vote outcomes I am surprised that the FAAA has left itself open to this criticism. If any of the officials wonder what that criticism is I suggest when you fly online you ask anyone you fly with how they voted on the JFK issue. I have met only 2 people out of at least 50 I have asked that have said they voted yes. Could be I asked the wrong 50.
Yeah SAD probably isn't the best way to communicate to the memership what is now confronting us all.
