I would think as the cost of fuel skyrockets, the differentiation between a full service airline and an LCC becomes less defined. This may result in a decrease in the number of passengers and a shift back to quality over quantity. I wonder at what cost per barrell that this possibility becomes apparent. I get the feeling that the executive love affair with the mean and lean Jetstar over the sure and steady Qantas may end sooner rather than later.
