Come on guys..this is year 2006. The world is a competitive place. We cant have the government trying to block this and that for the welfare of their own people especially in a sector like aviation. Look at the region around us..go to an airport and u will see so many eurasian faces all pilots for Asian carriers how do we feel? I believe we have the candidates for captaincy but why get forigners? Becos simply they are more experience, have more exposure, got lots of hours and type rated. That is why. Lets just accept the fact that airline companies will take in the best of the best and to be fair to all let the best candidate get the job irregardless of race, language or religion.
