Granted but if you already hold a CPL from another ICAO country and you are halfay through your 14 ATPL's then it may be safe to suggest that you are going through with it. AllI was aksing them was if I could start the process (filling out the applicaiton forms) then forward the necessary documentation when I attained it, therefore the last check in the box would be made and we could schedule something ASAP.
Why not let someone start the process so as soon as they have the bit of paper from the CAA then its all plain sailing? I do hear what you say tho Zoolo. Maybe its just frusitraiting for me as I'm currently waiting.
Also, CTC have always got back to me very promptly. Unlike the majority of other aviation related companies.
