It pains him to no end to see lazy cadets, especially those who cannot appreciate how fortunate they are to be in a cadet program and fast tracked to the right seat much to the envy and even scorn of regular folks who go the hard way.
Speaking of which, bad news travels fast. Word out is that the latest ATPL results has thrown up a new underachiever - 2 (yes TWO) marks for Met Theory. What do you do with characters like that? This cadet being ex-RSAF makes it even harder to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Too bad pple usually only find out how good he is after seletar, or when a cadet screws up and he has to step in and put in a good word to help keep the cadet. I feel sorry for his recent misfortune. The younger instructors are the ones who are more bo chap and less willing to stick their necks out. I'm sure you know who I'm talking about.
