Yo Jannie, yes had a reply, am also in 'holding pool'. spoken to HR department and they too are so friendly, can confirm that as of tuesday this week ALL stations have holding pools, so i am guessing that as they put on an extra recruitment day with just a few days notice (23rd March, i think that was the date) they are awaiting the go ahead to take on extra heads from the powers that be. a training course started monday this week for LGW but no others planned at momemt. what is your 1st choice base that you are holding for? i am LGW. hope this helps, good luck and keep me updated.
