The pilots spent the last few seconds of their lives trying to avoid a hangar building by using full assymetric reverse thrust on the already wrecked aircraft. Without luck.
I don't think it was intentional. After all, there wasn't much else they could do because the right engine detached from the fuselage immediately after the collision with the Cessna.
