crewboy Doubt it would be a problem, there are currently all kinds of nationalities at EI including some of your fellow countrymen. As far as I know it's an 11 month contract, money is average and you have occasional overnights in London. You could do a lot worse than EI.
Might be worth a call to follow up your CV as the HR crew don't move very quickly
