Grand total to be offered a job: 36
Seems as TCAS's view of thousands of furloughed pilots pounding on the tent flap didn't eventuate.
What's your thoughts Mr. Ed?
Again, this ain't Mr. Ed. No one was offered a job. Only offered a simulator evaluation and from my understanding they had filled all the slots up prior to the presentations. My friend took the test and was invited to Dubai for further interview. So if they got 36, that appears all they had time for in the simulator. I was told by someone in attendance that in atlanta there were around 150 or fewer in attendance. Again, I am not saying there thousands will attend, just thousands available. When some of these take a few jobs, the word may get out, good and bad. I got no dog in this fight, just reporting what was observed and a few observations myself. I wish only the best for any pilot making life's decisions. Hope this helps. But remember, no one was "offered" a job.
