Re: Baby T3
I really don't understand this. Does utilising an airbridge cost a great deal extra for an airline and does it significantly increase turnaround times? When they were in T1 they often used stands 6 and 8 on B Pier in the afternoons and on some occasions they utilised the airbridges and on others they didn't. And of course they used the airbridge on stand 21 on many a morning. And now initial says that on Sunday they had 3 aircraft on airbridges and bar none says that today they weren't using them. I just don't get the policy here. Why use an airbridge on some days and not others? And if an aircraft is going to be allocated an airbridge stand, what's the point of not using the airbridge? It may as well use a different stand or go remote. Obviously with baby being low cost, they might not want to pay out the additional charges for using an airbridge but then on some days they do use one, so it doesn't make sense.
