I thought this was supposed to be the era of transparent government?
Surely the public have a right to know the details of where our taxes are being spent, and that all claims are legitimate?
And should 2-Jags not be reported to the Standards Commission for possible favourable involvement in the loans - planning permission fiasco? After all, Parish Councillors have been banned from any discussion concerning developments in their parish because they are deemed to have a 'prejudicial interest'.
Don't the same rules apply to politicians?
