I agree, that makes the best sense, and also is the way to go if using a single contract SIM card for both voice and data.
Unfortunately it also (usually) means using a bluetooth connection to the phone, and bluetooth is a wonderful
tomorrow's technology
It has a habit of packing up right when you need it.
