Your post put a big smile on my face. Your my kinda person.

Many forget the way it was to be an outsider looking in when they applied.

Crew who come from other carriers are always amazed at the culture within BA and how it compares to their old jobs.

Others who have worked in offices find it a whole new word and love the change.

Some like it, however the job isn't for them or isn't as much money as they were expecting.

Some (a minority) who start at BA as their first job however think the whole of the world has a better life, the grass is greener everywhere else.

Some join and complaining about everything, and looking at life as a "cup half empty" is a pass-time.

I choose to look at it as "If we were all the same, the world would be boring".
and embrace the opportunity to inform and enlighten the last two groups I mentioned. The others I take great pleasure in working with and look forward to flying with them as often as possible, and buying them a drink downroute.

Friends of mine who do other jobs are always amazed at how accomadating the company is, how many options and benefits we have, and the lifestyle we lead (YES even at EFLGW!, and I'm sure it will be even better from Oct).

It's by no-means perfect...but what company (or airline) is?

It's certainly better than all the other UK opperators.

So my advice is don't question your decision

Enjoy your success.

I look forward to flying with you, or maybe even training you!
