One the whole they are pretty good - JFK is a good case in point.
Had a very funny incident in France when I took a 767 to airport that was usually a 757 destination. Marshaller very quickly realised I would loose sight of him so started backing up rapidly - straight through an open door leading to an airside office
He re-emerged a few seconds later looking a little red.................
