There are pros and cons either way. If you do them now, you are still in study mode, your CPL knowledge is still fresh, and you don't have to worry about it later.
However there is a time limitation between finishing the exams and getting the hours. Also doing them later when you are almost employable will make the knowledge fresh for any interviews.
Personally I feel that it will be easier to do them now for you. But I think it would be better to do them later. You can do the study and pass them now but it will all be abstract info with you not really relating it to real life. I say get a few hours under your belt and then sit them when it will start to mean something to you.
