Great potential for things to get ugly". .. .errr... but the doors are now reinforced, locked mechanically from inside, and can only be released by a pilot unstrapping and unlocking the mechanism (if it has not distorted and jammed). They "cannot" be broken down. And the rules say they are locked as such from prior pushback to after shutdown.. .. .In the scenario you mention, the pilots are left to die.
