The problem with BHX transatlantic operations has always been attracting sufficient high yield clients. That was why BA pulled out a few years back. Now that Business Class travel is on a down curve AAL & COA won't get sufficient yield to sustain operations throughout the winter months. Hopefully it will only be a temporary absence.
