Interesting how everyone seems to use slightly differing downwind checks! This is what i've been taught for downwind:
Brakes - off
Undercarriage - down
Mixture - rich
Pump (fuel) - on
Fuel - check contents, fullest tank selected
Instruments - QFE set, DI aligned
Ts/Ps - in the green
Carb heat - on
Harnesses/hatches - secured/closed
