This bodes very badly for PPLs with limited if any jet time getting into such syndicates in the future and suggests a possible glut of such aircraft on the market shortly.
Bah, I'll just head to the US or SA - plenty of jets to fly there if insurance is a problem here
Alternatively, the FAA CPL/ATPL is always an option, or a TR on a conventional jet, then go ex-mil, simple enough, and worth the journey.
