Many airlines in this industry who behave much the same way. There are also those that do not (few). I would suggest comming up with a "plan B", or perhaps even a "plan C". If your heart is trully in the carrer ahead, your resourcefulness (I hope I spelled that right!) will provide the opportunities, not just the one airline you've pinned your hopes on.
