From my experience with EAAC it doesnt surprise me! When the majority of 737's went to Oz it raised a few questions about what would happen with the UK aircraft? With the news that PS has bought a handful of MD82's the scrap pile will keep growing! I feel sorry for the last bunch of recruits that thought that this was the start of a bright future! Most of the last course resigned due to very poor working conditions! Watch this space i guess?
