The title of your post should read ''BRAL pension'' and if anyone is to blame for the hole it should be the long-gone heads of British Regional and Manx Airlines. The pension scheme you refer to is the old British Regional Airlines final salary scheme which was closed to new members when BA Citiexpress was formed back in 2002 and I believe is several million pounds in the red. The pension scheme that is in place at BA Connect is the old Brymon Airways 'with profits' plan and has been in place since 2002.
