it is not my personal invention and I used to record this some time ago the same way ( unfortunately ) you are saying you do.
nowadays, according to JAR-FCL 1.080 Jeppesen Pilot Logbook's chapter : "Instruction for use" - notes for column 10 (Pilot function time) say :
- enter flight time as pilot-in - command (PIC), student pilot-in-command(SPIC) and pilot - in- command under supervision (PICUS) as PIC
- all time recorded as SPIC or PICUS must be countersigned by the aircraft commander/flight instructor in the Remarks (column 12)
Why not log it this way since you are authorised to do so?
