Take a look at your 'Application' Event Log (via Administrative Tools). Probably a good chance you have
1517 or
1524 errors. If so, download:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en.
This is the latest version, out just a few days ago. Even if you don't have the specific errors it works very well at cleaning up and speeding up log-off/shut down.
