The school is Old Sarum Flying Club near Salisbury and I believe the cost of the FI is around £5000 on the 152. Check www.oldsarumflyingclub.co.uk for more information.

As I'm not an instructor its difficult to say whether doing the course in the states will affect your chances of employment over here. For the difference in cost between here and the states, once flights and visa administration have been factored I imagine the saving would be rather small. It may well be wise to choose a school in the UK where the chances of gaining a job at the club you trained at are high.

With the upturn in the job market the vacuum on FI's at all schools means that many FI students, on completing their course, fill the vacancies of the higher hour FI's moving onto the airlines.Whatever you choose, best of luck with it all.
