Believe it or not, there is a company here in Oklahoma City that is called JetRocket, or RocketJet or something like that.
Anyway, they are planning to launch a Lear 24, that's right a Lear 24 into space. The highly modified Lear will be launched from an old Air Force Base that is about a 100 miles west of Oklahoma City, the former Clinton Sherman Air Force Base now called Burns Flats. It is out in the middle of ranch and farm land with a few small towns in the area. It is my hope that when they launch this thing it will be to the west, away from me!
Even though I am now semi-retired and looking for some additional income I did NOT send them my resume (CV) despite the fact that I am typed in Lear Jets.
