Balanced Field
Howdy folks, just looking for a definition of balanced field. Would I be correct in assuming that if you had an aircraft where V1 and Vr are synonomous, then reducing V1 would reduce accelerate/stop, but increase balanced field? Can we include a clearway in balanced field caculations? Would I be correct in saying that if the takeoff run equals or is greater than accelerate/stop, then we can consider the field balanced? Thanks in advance for any info.
