Why should Cork have to take on the cost of the new terminal? When he was Minister for Transport, Seamus Brennan said that Cork should be debt free when the Aer Rianta airports were broken up. A Fianna Fail government should honour this committment. Snn have had their terminal buildings refurbished to a magnificently high standard over the last few years with accompanying road improvements etc and that airport has not been solely saddled with the costs. If anything, due to the high diversion rate Cork people have forked a significant amount of revenue to the coffers at snn.

And now there is the gall that the shower at snn want new airbridges too whillst the new Cork terminal is the joke airport of Europe if not the western world with it's one poxy airbridge!
