This scheme was not introduced by MYT but Sigmar picked MYT as a good training provider given that they have a great safety record, top notch training and a surplus of TRE's/TRI's. MYT gets no benefit other than a free FO for the summer.
The idiots here are the people who pay £45,000 but if nobody else offers decent line training at a price then who will?
You all have a free will. If you choose not to pay this stupid amount then DON'T. MYT has very good terms and cons and the company looks after its pilots very well...but remember, the guys who come through from Sigmar will NOT be MYT employees...just a contract trainee who has paid to get hours. They all have to go through assessment, and have to pay for this so no risk is posed to the company providing the assessment. If they get through, then they are considered good pilot material and in the hands of MYT, they will be made great pilots.
