I'm pretty sure that's not right - I think there's an 800m limit for single-pilot ops. Reference would be AIP AD 1.1.2 - "Aerodrome Operating Minima" - but since that's one of the few chapters of the AIP that's not on-line, and I'm not at work so I can't check the paper copy, I can't confirm that right now and I may be wrong.
