With regards to 757 leased off Finnair by XLA, I heard that XL were trying to lease it fully and operate it on the G register, therefore allowing crews to operate all aircraft based at NCL, but wether AY will agree is uncertain. It seems like alot of work for just 5 1/2 months, remembering that AY always take the 757 back half way through october, in readiness for their own busy schedule. Having it on the G reg would make alot of sense, and allow XL to paint it in their own colours
Is Jet2 actually basing a 757 at NCL? If so, they must have more planned for it than 2 TFS flights per week, and I can't see them using a 235 seater on the rest of the NCL routes (MJV, PSA, AMS, BGO, MAH) as I really don't think they warrant it, particularly during the winter months. Maybe new routes are on the way, possibly to ski destinations for the winter season...?
