Chewy, I ca nsympathise with you, but... I have no idea where you nightstop, however... I knew a girl once who had the same problem on nightstops. No-one wanted to do anything. So what did she do? She went out and about on her own (within reason and taking adequate measures for her personal safety) got around, spoke to the locals, found good places to go or things to do/see... took a camera, had a ball, and discovered lots about the places aside frome the 'packaged' touristy places...
for example, having a beer with locals in Ghana, playing soccer with kids is South America, etc etc.. it's amazing what will come to you if you look for it...!
