Bwahahaha? missed that one.

Dumb and dumber, the cops have reams of stories where the perp has left his wallet, shirt with name tag and other clever stuff behind.

Thats why I just love those BBC crime show that exhume old crimes and suchlike.
Aircraft like bodies are darned hard to get rid of.

In another life I was doing work for the banks recovering some aviation assets.

A colleague looking for 2 cabin class twins belonging to company that went t!ts up, found one in the hangar (we parted it out) plus two dead engines and a bunch of U/S spare parts from the the other of which there was no sign.
Needed the data plate to take it off the rego too.
Hmmmm. Goes down to local aero club bar buys some beers and idle chat reveals that Simms metal might be the go.

It was not long past Christmas the staff hadn't been paid, the Christmas Fund had been plundered and theres a 1000 or so kgs of ally going to waste.

Data plate recovered everybody happy, and I think the liquidator wrote the Chrissy party off to experience.
