I am currently studying towards GCSEs and am looking at a part time job at a local airport which is one of the 3 London airports owned and operated by BAA.
The shop/company I am looking to apply for a job at is within the departure lounge therefore being within the security zone and in a restricted area which means I would need a security ID.
My question is as follows:
I am 16, and applying for a
part time job at a
BAA airport, so would it be possible for BAA to issue me with a security airside ID?
I have contacted the store in question and they say that their minimum employment age is 16 but this may be different at airport branches because of the security ID issue.
