Work Placement behind the scenes
This may seem a sort of moronic question, but I was wondering if any of you would be able to direst any advice in my direction as regards the possibility of a work placement at an airline. I am about to leave school and head to University but have recently thought about deferring my university offers in favour of taking a Gap year. I plan to read Law at Uni and hopefully go into the aviation law area upon completion of the degree.
Would it be in any way possible to persuade an airline to take me on for about 3 months (amount of time is flexible) so that I could get a look at the aviation industry from behind the scenes? I'm fairly sure that this would be of value in terms of a future career aswell as being really interesting.
What I'm asking for is any suggestions about anything regarding the above. I'd be prepared to travel internationally so please suggest airlines who would be willing to accept me or better ways to get a look at the aviation industry from the perspective of a future lawyer. If the whole thing is a bit unrealsitic then please feel free to say so.
Many Thanks.
