I'll help cut down some of your workload

Although there are plenty of schools in Australia, most Europeans end up at (no particular order):
Jandakot Helicopters, Perth
Professional Helicopter Services, Melbourne
Chopperline, Caloundra (Queensland)
Becker Helicopters, Maroochydoore (Queensland)
You ask any pilot and 9 times out of 10 they think they got the best training at their school. Doesn't help you much as they probably only trained at 1 school anyway; not much to base an opinion on.
For what its worth, I was more than happy with Chopperline and I haven't heard a bad word about them (and it wasn't the only school I trained at).
The locals always eat at the best restaurants, look where the locals (read:Australians) learn to fly.
Do your homework well or you might end up getting bit in the butt

Take note that you need almost 3 times as many hours to become an instructor in Australia than in America, but you can get a very handy 2 year working visa if you go to America
